A Porsche rockets past at an estimated 160–190, and moments later I’m the one getting pulled over on the German highway.

The police light display is in German, and they direct me into a safer U-shaped pull-off instead of the breakdown lane.

The officer questions why I slowed down and then sped up, but my GPS and not-wanting-to-pass-the-police explanation clears it up—no ticket.
