Then I dialed the wrong country code—and later realized the Red Light District was above our street.

After arriving downtown and finding the room wasn’t ready, we were exhausted and tried to rent another place.

The hotel helped us call the host, and we realized I’d been dialing the country/area code wrong.

Later, we spent hours asking locals for the Red Light District—only to look up and see the red lights right above our own street.

- Quick talk about coffee shops/hash bars and “window shopping” - Room wasn’t ready at the first downtown place, so we tried to rent somewhere else - Hotel staff asked for the reservation details and offered to call the host - I was dialing the wrong country/area code and couldn’t get through - Host apologized and moved us to a different location across town - That night we asked locals for directions to the Red Light District for hours - We got back to our place, looked up, and saw red lights above the street
