The guy got so heated that it reached the point where they grabbed his license plate and told him he wasn’t allowed to eat there anymore.

He was furious right away, and the narrator couldn’t tell if he was on drugs, looking for drugs, or just mad at the world.

Somehow, it all centered on a hash brown he claimed he was owed—and the narrator was willing to give it to him anyway.
